NDA Alliance Development : Bihar Polls JP Nadda And Nitish Kumar Meets In Patna Ahead of Seat Sharing Among Allies
BJP president JP Nadda on Saturday meets JD(U) chief and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar at the latter’s official residence . They discussed about certain political and social issues ahead of seat-sharing among the NDA allies for the forthcoming assembly elections in Bihar.
The meeting lasted for more than half an hour at the CM’s residence.Details of discussions nor shared officially , sources in the BJP shared that it was a “small meeting” to discuss certain political issues ahead of the finalization of seat-sharing formula between the NDA’s three allies— BJP, JDU and LJP.
“Seat-sharing formula during for the NDA partners most probably supposed be finalized after September 14 after meeting between Union home minister Mr. Amit Shah and Chirag Paswan in Delhi ” on Satuday as per sources.
Nadda was followed by party’s national general secretary and Bihar in-charge Bhupendra Yadav, state president Sanjay Jaiswal and deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi. Nitish Kumar was accompanied by the JDU’s former state president and Munger MP Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh.
Sushil Modi who was also part of the meeting, updated that it was a “courtesy visit” to the CM as he has arrived in Bihar, he make a courtesy visit to the CM .
Sushil Modi makes an statement that the meeting between Nadda Ji and CM Nitish Kumar was nowhere related to the seat-sharing talks and asked question also “do you think Nadda Ji needs to visit Patna specially to hold seat-sharing meetings”.
Let me remind assembly elections in Bihar is due in the month of October-November. The schedule for assembly polls is likely to be announced by the end of this month or first week of October. The Election Commission has already indicated that it would like to conclude entire process of election before the end of term of the present assembly on November 29.
