Deepika’s ‘The Intern’ ready to go on floor surfaces


Almost a year after Deepika Padukone announced she will star the Indian remake of ‘The Intern’, the project is finally about to go on floors.
Depending on the latest reports on Mumbai Reflect, the film that was set to obtain the actress team up with Rishi Kapoor will now go on floors mid-2021. The film is currently said to be documented in pre-production stage.
This affirmation comes in amidst speculation about the fate of the film after Rishi’s unforeseen demise in April. The seasoned veteran star was set to take on the role acted as by Robert De Niro in the film that would see Deepika take on Anne Hathaway ’s thing in the remake of the hit 2015 film.

Reports doing the rounds claimed that the makers were hunting for another veteran star to take complete from Rishi, however , no professional confirmation was made on the same.
Talking about the project, Deepika said at the statement to PTI, “’The Intern’ is an intimate, relationship-driven film, fabulous and around the workplace; a story that I experience is very relevant to the present-day public responsibilities and cultural environment. I have been buying a light, breezy comedy-drama and this actual story fits in seamlessly. I cannot wait to get this done journey. ”
On the work opportunities front, Deepika has a busy because of ahead as she is gearing up and shoot for 5 back-to-back films, this includes, ‘Pathan’ with Shah Rukh Khan , ‘The Intern’ remake, Shakun Batra ‘s next, Nag Ashwin is the reason directorial with Prabhas and a woman home production ‘ Mahabharat ’.
The actress will supposedly wrap up filming her long list akin to films before devoting 6 months to her ambitious mythological film that will spot her play the role of Draupadi.
