NEW DELHI: Tech giant Apple is all set to kick start its annual developer conference WWDC 2021 next week. Ahead of the conference, the company has launched a YouTube live stream where interested viewers can sign up to get the reminder when the event begins.
Apart from launching the live streaming of the event on YouTube, Apple is also planning to make the WWDC 2021 keynote available via the Events website and in the Apple TV app. The company has also created an Events page for WWDC 2021 which will consist of the live stream link.
Apple’s keynote for the event will take place on June 7 at 10 am PDT (10.30 pm IST). Just like last year, Apple will hold an online-only event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The Cupertino-based tech giant will announce its “latest software and technologies” as per the invite. In other words, we will get to see the latest updates across its operating systems on Apple devices. iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS and watchOS 8. We could also see changes to the TV OS.
“Free for all developers, WWDC 2021 will bring together the global Apple developer community and provide them with new insights into the technologies, tools, and frameworks they rely on,” said Apple in a post on its newsroom.
Recently, Apple announced select students from 35 countries who will be a part of its annual developer conference WWDC 2021. Among the 350 Swift Student Challenge Winners, is Abinaya Dinesh, a 15-year-old of Indian origin.
A resident of North Brunswick, New Jersey, Dinesh created an app called Gastro at Home, which she plans to launch on the App Store this summer. The app offers people with gastrointestinal disorders a way to access information and resources, especially because those types of conditions can sometimes be sensitive to talk about.
